5<\/p>\n A pal of 50 Cent, Bang Em Smurf (AKA real name Daniel Calliste) is staying in a taxpayer-funded hotel while claiming asylum 5<\/p>\n 50 Cent’s In Da Club music video features Bang Em SmurfCredit: Vevo<\/p>\n He is living in a Novotel near Stevenage, Herts<\/a>.<\/p>\n Smurf is understood to have arrived here late last year claiming he needed \u201csafety from gangs<\/a>\u201d in his native Trinidad<\/a>.<\/p>\n A source said: \u201cIt\u2019s crazy he was let in after being deported from the US with a criminal<\/a> record for violent offences.<\/p>\n \u201cHis history is well known.
