{"id":939404,"date":"2026-05-05T13:38:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T13:38:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/939404\/"},"modified":"2026-05-05T13:38:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T13:38:16","slug":"rejoin-eu-party-fields-six-candidates-in-ealing-ealing-news-the-voice-of-ealings-7-towns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/939404\/","title":{"rendered":"Rejoin EU Party fields six candidates in Ealing &#8211; EALING.NEWS &#8211; The Voice of Ealing&#8217;s 7 towns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Candidates from the Rejoin EU Party are standing in six wards across Ealing in this Thursday\u2019s Ealing Council local elections (7 May), as voters head to the polls to elect councillors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The party, which campaigns for the UK to rejoin the European Union, has confirmed it is fielding six candidates: Mohd Mofiz Uddin in Dormers Wells, Georgie Louise Hare in Ealing Broadway, Raj Thanga in Greenford Broadway, Peter Mark Ward in Hanger Hill, Taslema Akhter in Hanwell Broadway, and Kamlesh Mehta in North Acton.<\/p>\n<p>Labour has controlled Ealing Council since 2010 and holds 56 of the 70 council seats.
