They first gained attention during the 2019 season of The Voice UK with their impressive harmonies and song choices and have since built a large following on TikTok, where they post song covers—often filmed in car parks.

In 2025, they were selected as the UK’s Eurovision entry with their country-inspired pop track “What The Hell Just Happened?” Their original repertoire includes songs like “Hysterical Women,” “Laugh About It,” and “Drive.” Praised for their vocal abilities, chemistry, and authenticity, they draw inspiration from iconic country artists such as The Chicks, Pistol Annies, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris. Their sound is described as a blend of modern and classic country with hints of pop and rock, aimed at spreading joy and positivity. Known for their close friendship and sense of humor, Remember Monday is recognized as one of the most promising acts in the UK country scene, having performed at festivals like Country to Country, Buckle and Boots, and The Long Road, as well as collaborating with artists such as The Shires, Ward Thomas, and Twinnie.

What the Hell Just Happened? was written by the three band members of Remember Monday: Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele as well as Julie Aagaard, Kes Kamara, Sam Brennan and Tom Hollings.

The Rehearsal

We open in a Regency-style boudoir, where Remember Monday reflects on the previous evening’s wild happenings. When the first chorus hits, the scene shifts with a burst of energy as the trio strides down a catwalk, transporting us back to the previous night’s chaos. A giant chandelier—about 2.5 to 3 metres high, adorned with candles and flashing in various colours—lies crashed on the main stage, serving as a vivid reminder of the night’s antics. As the performance builds, the stage plunges into darkness before the lights return, revealing the girls back in the haven of the boudoir for a tender closing moment.

Sarah Louise Bennett/ EBU

The boudoir itself features a vintage padded screen with a central heart cut-out. Costumes channel a Bridgerton-meets-Moulin Rouge aesthetic: Lauren in pale blue, Holly-Anne in pink, and Charlotte in yellow, all sporting corseted dresses with flounces and sparkles. Clever camerawork—swooping shots over the chandelier and overhead views of the LED floor—enhances the chaotic party vibe, capped off by an intimate shot of the trio singing through the heart cut-out. Their powerful, three-part harmonies electrify the space in St Jakobshalle, and the evident camaraderie and joy between them make the performance feel both polished and wonderfully genuine.
