The Manchester resident won their prize with bond number 513FF673500, purchased in September 2022.<\/p>\n

Generally speaking, the higher number of Premium Bonds someone holds, the higher chances of winning big. The Manchester saver who scooped \u00a3100k was holding \u00a336,900.<\/p>\n
On top of the 71 \u00a3100k prizes, there were 143 winners of \u00a350k, 285 winners of \u00a325k, and 712 winners of \u00a310k, with more prizes being handed out in the value of \u00a31,000, \u00a3500, \u00a3100, \u00a350 and \u00a325.<\/p>\n
In the May draw, 5,947,523 tax-free prizes will be paid to Premium Bonds prize winners totalling \u00a3376,180,825. This month there were 136,793,028,278 \u00a31 Bonds eligible for the draw.<\/p>\n
From April 2026, the interest rate for Premium Bonds dropped to 3.3% – down from 3.6%.<\/p>\n
