Everton<\/a> and Sheffield Wednesday fans may be thankful that neither of them were purchased by John Textor, who now owns Belgian side RWD Molenbeek.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Belgian outfit is now part of Textor\u2019s multi-club ownership network under his company, Eagle Football Holdings.<\/p>\n

RWD Molenbeek have now been reportedly added to FIFA\u2019s transfer ban list, and will not be able to make any more deals for the next three windows.<\/p>\n

Textor tried buying Sheffield Wednesday from former chairman Dejphon Chansiri, who was holding out for offers of \u00a3100million, but both failed in their respective attempts. <\/p>\n

Farhad Moshiri was also in talks with Textor<\/a>, but after a deal fell through, the Friedkin Group took over the Toffees, something which financial expert Kieran Maguire suggests they should be thankful for.<\/p>\n
