Uncovered messages from Blake Lively\u2019s team show staffers panicking as several companies responded negatively to backlash the actress faced during her \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d feud with Justin Baldoni<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just got off the phone with the SGWS Kroger VP, and the first thing he mentioned to me was that Betty Booze was just discussed,\u201d reads one of the messages from a member of Lively\u2019s team to staffers about the actress\u2019 cocktail line dated Sept. 10, 2024, per TMZ.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a negative taste in Kroger\u2019s mouth based on the [Blake Lively] interview (press) from the movie, and they said they will be closely monitoring sales on the brand,\u201d it continues, discussing the grocery giant.<\/p>\n

In one message concerning grocery giant Kroger, a member of Lively\u2019s team asked other employees if there were any \u201cinternal efforts in place to flip the script\u201d as Lively (seen here at the 2026 Met Gala) faced backlash online during the controversy. Getty Images<\/p>\n

The email goes on to state that Kroger is \u201cexpecting a negative sales impact, and they\u2019re wondering what [Blake Lively] will be doing to course correct and make things right with her audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The team member then asks if there are \u201cinternal efforts in place to flip the script or messaging we can share with these customers directly\u201d and notes that the company needs \u201cto be proactive about this.\u201d<\/p>\n

A separate message from the VP of Food & Beverage at Princess Cruises to the Betty Booze team claimed reads: \u201cBy the way our legal ethics and compliance committee board spooked with Blake !!! I am working things out hopefully will not have an effect.\u201d<\/p>\n

An additional correspondence with railroad company Brightline dated Aug. 28, 2024, showed the actress taking another blow as the company sought to pause an anticipated partnership deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cTransparently they want to hold for a minute until some of the [Blake Lively] chatter can be turned down. I\u2019ll circle back when I hear more,\u201d the message from Brightline\u2019s executive VP read.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d star\u2019s team reportedly planned to use the texts as evidence to back Lively\u2019s claims about the exorbitant damages and losses she incurred as a result of Baldoni\u2019s alleged smear campaign<\/a> against her.<\/p>\n

Reps for Lively and Baldoni did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n

Lively and Baldoni made headlines when they reached a settlement agreement<\/a> for their years-long \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d legal feud on Monday \u2014 just two weeks before their case was scheduled to go to trial.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe end product \u2014 the movie \u2018It Ends With Us\u2019 \u2014 is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life,\u201d both sides said in a joint statement to Page Six. \u201cRaising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors \u2014 and all survivors \u2014 is a goal that we stand behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both parties added that they \u201cremain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments\u201d and it is their \u201csincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.\u201d<\/p>\n

Soon after, a source exclusively told Page Six that the agreement finally came to fruition in a \u201clast-minute deal.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThe magistrate and the judge wanted to avoid this going to trial as it was going to be a long, drawn-out case, so they were encouraged to reach an agreement,\u201d the insider said.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth noting that the two stars had already gone to mediation in February, but were unsuccessful<\/a>.<\/p>\n
