Liverpool is home to some excellent crafts and farmers markets including the Woolton Village Market which is set to return this Saturday (May 9). Located in the heart of Woolton Village the market plays host to up to 35 traders who sell a wide variety of products including food and drink, bakery and craft items, and clothing.<\/p>\n
The market, operated by Liverpool Council,<\/a> takes place on the second Saturday of every month from 9am to 2pm. The last market <\/a>was held on Saturday April 11.<\/p>\n This weekend\u2019s traders include Irish bakery, Donall\u2019s who will be serving up a range of goods from cookies to Irish scones. There will also be an appearance from independent women’s boutique, and market regulars, Wardrobe Liverpool.<\/a><\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n Other stalls include fresh fruit and vegetables vendors, plants sellers and local artists.<\/p>\n The market can be found at L25 7RG, or by using the what3words: globe.tried.person.<\/p>\n Liverpool City Council has also confirmed that Allerton<\/a> Hall Farmers and Craft Market will be returning in 2026, although they have not yet set a date for its first appearance.<\/p>\n Allerton<\/a> Hall Farmers and Craft Market takes place next to Clarke Gardens, outside the Allerton Hall pub.<\/p>\n It is one of Liverpool’s many regular arts and farmers markets alongside others taking place at Lark Lane<\/a> and in Woolton<\/a> Village. The market is generally made up of over twenty traders and has been known to sell plants, cheese, gluten-free products, bakery, artworks, pet products and more.<\/p>\n The market’s return follows on from two appearances in 2025. In May 3 2025 the market celebrated its tenth appearance<\/a> at the gardens.<\/p>\n A second Allerton Hall Market held was held later in the year, on August 30.<\/p>\n Liverpool City Council <\/a>website states that the market will “return in 2026”.<\/p>\n
