Fresenius, a global, therapy-focused healthcare company, together with SAP, is investing in Avelios Medical, a Munich-based company developing a next-generation, cloud-native hospital information system.<\/p>\n
The deal builds on the partnership between Fresenius and SAP. In January this year, the companies announced plans to accelerate innovation for stronger digital healthcare delivery, with the intention of creating a digital backbone for a sovereign, interoperable, and AI-supported healthcare system. The idea is to provide an open, integrated, and data\u2011driven digital health ecosystem that enables hospitals and medical facilities worldwide to use AI securely and to handle health data responsibly.\u00a0<\/p>\n
