West Midlands Police cordoned off a city road after a blood stained car was discovered.<\/p>\n

Officers were called to Millhouse Road, Yardley<\/a>, around 4.35pm on Tuesday (May 5), after receiving reports that a suspicious looking vehicle had been abandoned.<\/p>\n

The road was sealed off while investigation took place.<\/p>\n

Enquiries revealed that a man had been assaulted elsewhere and he had made his way to hospital.<\/p>\n

His injuries were not said to be ‘life-changing.’<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> said: “We responded to reports of a car being abandoned with blood inside it on Millhouse Road, Yardley, yesterday afternoon (5 May) just after 4.35pm.<\/p>\n

“A cordon was put in place and further enquiries found a man had reported being assaulted in a different location and had made his way to hospital.<\/p>\n

“His injuries are not believed to be life-changing.<\/p>\n
