Marvelous,&#8221; King Charles remarked, according to the <a data-ylk=\"slk:Daily Mail;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/news\/royals\/article-15795977\/Dog-steals-Kings-garden-party-getting-pats-royals.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Next, it was time for Vegas to meet <a data-ylk=\"slk:Princess Anne;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tag\/princess-anne\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Princess Anne<\/a>, who proved to be her mother&#8217;s daughter when she seemed utterly charmed by the dog&#8217;s boisterous greeting.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Is it everyone or is it just me?&#8221; Anne asked Vegas, bending down to hold her front paws with a smile.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson shared with the Princess Royal that the cocker spaniel is her first hearing service cdog.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And does she help you? Wilson apologised, but Anne waved it off.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh, it&#8217;s quite all right,&#8221; she said, complimenting Vegas&#8217;s efforts. &#8220;It&#8217;s a good size.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The late Queen Elizabeth had over 30 dogs over the course of her life, and when <a data-ylk=\"slk:she died at age 96;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aol.com\/lifestyle\/queen-elizabeth-longest-reigning-british-173122190.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">she died at age 96<\/a>, on Sept. 8, 2022, she was outlived by just two of her beloved pets: Sandy and Muick.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, it was decided that the dogs would be placed in the care of then-<a data-ylk=\"slk:Prince Andrew;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tag\/prince-andrew\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Prince Andrew<\/a> and his ex-wife, <a data-ylk=\"slk:Sarah Ferguson;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tag\/sarah-ferguson\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Ferguson<\/a>. The two were living together at their longtime residence, Royal Lodge, despite divorcing in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>However, last fall, the corgis&#8217; fate was in limbo once again following King Charles&#8217;s decision to\u00a0<a data-ylk=\"slk:strip Andrew of his royal titles;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aol.com\/lifestyle\/why-king-charles-finally-took-214415348.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strip Andrew of his royal titles<\/a> amid increased scrutiny over his connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
