Labour\u2019s Stephen McBarron finished third with 1,304 votes.<\/p>\n<p>Councillor Seary said he felt proud of retaining his seat, against a backdrop of mixed fortunes for his party nationally.<\/p>\n<p>Thanking his support team for all their work, he put his success down to hard work. Cllr Seary said: \u201cI genuinely care for the community I live in and engage with people as much as I possibly can.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s about being there and being there for people. People can see how passionate I am about the area.
