Amit Srivastava, founder of Nutrify Today, explained that the event has intentionally evolved into an invite-only gathering focused on outcomes, strategy and an ecosystem-wide collaboration.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has become now a boardroom and boardroom often means outcome and outcome typically is what is the optimization on investment,\u201d he said. \u201cWe decided to be a boardroom summit and not the ballroom because the outcome is our claim that we intend to deliver while working with buyers and sellers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Srivastava explained that the summit deliberately moved away from the \u201cfootball game\u201d atmosphere that often defines large industry events. After growing attendance from 200 to 600 participants, organizers realized many senior executives were no longer finding value in crowded networking environments. In response, SumFlex reduced attendance to roughly 300 carefully selected leaders, increased participation standards and shifted to an invitation-only model. According to Srivastava, the goal is to optimize return on investment for attendees and create an environment where conversations lead to measurable business outcomes. He also revealed that this year\u2019s summit attendees will include international ministers, investors and even members of royal families.<\/p>\n
Sameer Joshi, chief operations officer and chief commercial officer, Cepham, has attended Nutrify C-Suite SumFlex Summit since it began in 2021. This year Joshi\u2019s non-profit, A thousand Plus<\/a>, is an event partner. <\/p>\n Joshi highlighted how the summit\u2019s curated structure has changed the quality of dialogue, allowing CEOs, investors, formulators and innovators to engage in strategic conversations rather than transactional meetings. He also pointed out the importance of collaboration across the industry, cautioning that companies who focus solely on individual gain risk undermining the overall industry. <\/p>\n \u201cWe are a global industry and if one fails, the others are going to fail, too,\u201d said Joshi. \u201cSo we all have to kind of work together.\u201d<\/p>\n Beyond keynote discussions, SumFlex will feature interactive workshops and unconventional formats, including \u201cMaster Formulator,\u201d a reality-style competition, as well as \u201cFake Nutrition: Anatomy of a Crime,\u201d which involves a simulated counterfeit nutraceutical crime scene. Srivastava said the goal is to move beyond passive learning and instead create real-time problem solving around formulation, regulation and commercialization.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see the Master Formulator go into play,\u201d said Joshi. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of young entrepreneurs out there and a lot of them are invited to attend this and I can\u2019t wait to see their technologies and where they\u2019ve gone with innovation surrounding technology and delivery forms.\u201d<\/p>\n
