\n\tOasis<\/a>\u2018 reunion tour may have been arguably the must-attend cultural moment of 2025, but it\u2019s now hoping to find a similar audience on the big screen. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe documentary following the band \u2014\u00a0from magna studios and Sony Music Vision \u2014\u00a0has been picked up by Disney, with a limited theatrical release on IMAX screens and other cinemas now set for September 11, before streaming exclusively on Disney+<\/a> internationally later this year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe currently untitled Oasis documentary film come from \u201cPeaky Blinders\u201d creator and current James Bond scribe Steven Knight<\/a> and is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (\u201cShut Up and Play the Hits\u201d, \u201cMeet Me in the Bathroom\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe feature doc charts Liam and Noel Gallagher\u2019s triumphant reunion tour Oasis Live \u201925, considered one of the most anticipated rock \u2018n\u2019 roll comebacks. The film is described as an \u201cunapologetically uplifting account of arguably the biggest musical event of 2025, capturing the experience and emotions of the band and their fans across the world.\u201d Cameras were given access to rehearsals, backstage and onstage, while the film also includes the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in over 25 years. Alongside the band\u2019s sold-out world tour, the film also explores the profound emotional impact of this phenomenal global cultural moment and what their music means to audiences and generations worldwide.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI genuinely cannot wait for the world to see this film,\u201d said Knight. \u201cI believe it captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people. I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever. It is also the story of how music and songwriting can unite generations, cultures, countries and in a time of spite and division, give us all some reason to hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is a magna studios production, presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK. Producers are Sam Bridger (\u201cLewis Capaldi: How I\u2019m Feeling Now\u201d, \u201cMeet Me in the Bathroom\u201d) and Guy Heeley (\u201cPeaky Blinders: The Immortal Man\u201d). Executive producers include Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Isabel Davis and Tim O\u2019Shea, with Oscar winning sound mixers James Mather (\u201cTop Gun: Maverick\u201d, \u201cBelfast\u201d) and Tarn Willers (\u201cThe Zone of Interest\u201d) along with cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (\u201cBelfast\u201d, \u201cBeetle Juice Beetle Juice\u201d) leading the creative technical team.<\/p>\n
