\n\tWe\u2019ve come a long way from Liam Gallagher outright denying plans<\/a> to make a documentary about Oasis<\/a>\u2018 long-awaited reunion.<\/a> In 2024, the musician wrote on X, \u201cThere\u2019s been enough said about this band it\u2019s time to get Rocking and Rolling not yapping and scrapping.\u201d As it turns out, they made time for all of it: Steven Knight\u2019s currently untitled Oasis documentary will officially be released in select theaters on Sept. 11. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI genuinely cannot wait for the world to see this film,\u201d Knight said in a statement.\u00a0\u201cI believe it\u00a0captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people.\u00a0I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever. It is also the story of how music and songwriting can unite generations, cultures, countries and in a time of spite and division, give us all some reason to hope.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe documentary produced by Knight and directed by Dylan Southern with Will Lovelace will include interviews with both Liam and Noel Gallagher, marking their first together in more than two decades. Their reunion tour, Oasis Live \u201925, will serve as the centerpiece of the film. The run spanned 41 concert performances, their first together since 2009, between July and November 2025. <\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThey\u2019re just one quote after another, they\u2019re just so funny,\u201d Knight previously said<\/a> about interviewing the Gallagher brothers for the documentary.
