The 70-year-old Kardashian-Jenner matriarch and momager admitted to trying Ozempic before it became popular<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
She ultimately decided the popular GLP-1 wasn\u2019t right for her<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Kris Jenner<\/a> is sharing the \u201cgame changer\u201d she switched to after Ozempic made her feel sick.<\/p>\n During a Tuesday, May 5 appearance on the SHE MD Podcast<\/a>, the 70-year-old momager and businesswoman told hosts OBGYN Dr. Thais Aliabadi and women’s advocate Mary Alice Haney why the popular GLP-1 didn\u2019t work for her.<\/p>\n \u201cI did not do, like, an Ozempic,\u201d Jenner said. \u201cI tried it. We tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick.\u201d<\/p>\n Kris Jenner attends the 2026 Met Gala Thinking back on the moment, Jenner said she told Aliabadi, “I can’t work anymore. I can’t. I’m so sick. I can’t, like nauseous. And so she goes, \u2018Okay, okay. Let’s try something else.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Together, they \u201cdialed around and looked at different options.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier in the conversation, the podcast hosts asked Jenner how she maintains her looks.<\/p>\n After explaining her history with the weight-loss drug that was originally used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes and to lower the risk of major cardiovascular events, the mother of six<\/a> shared what finally did work for her.<\/p>\n \u201cI realized that a peptide injection was really great for me,\u201d Jenner said. \u201cAnd then I follow it up with supplements.\u201d<\/p>\n Injectable peptides, or short chains of amino acids, have risen in popularity in recent years. The injections can be used to induce weight loss and improve athletic performance, among other purported benefits, according to the American Medical Association<\/a>. Experts caution, though, that the effects of some of these peptides have not been studied extensively, and they may cause side effects ranging from stomach discomfort to pancreatitis.<\/p>\n The Kardashians star said Aliabadi advises her on which supplements to add to her diet, such as fish oils and omega-3s.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd that was a game changer,\u201d Jenner said. \u201cThat actually bought me an extra couple hours at night because I get up so early. I tend to want to go and collapse as soon as I have my last email or my last call or see my kids and have dinner and I’m done.\u201d<\/p>\n She added that the peptides gave her more energy than she previously had, and that the supplements are also good for hair, nails and skin.<\/p>\n Jenner also acknowledged the impact of her “very famous” facelift, which went viral in 2025.<\/p>\n Kris Jenner on December 02, 2025 in Los Angeles \u201cI had a very, well-known facelift a year ago. So that was helpful,\u201d she said with a laugh, crediting Dr. Steven Levine for his work.<\/p>\n The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch recently addressed a report by RadarOnline<\/a> that speculated she was allegedly “raging” about the results of her procedure just months after she debuted her refreshed look.<\/p>\n “Lately, it’s this headline about my facelift, which is really truly driving me crazy,” Jenner told her daughter Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/a> on the Khlo\u00e9 in Wonderland podcast<\/a> in late April. “The headline right now is that I hate my facelift, and I’m really mad at \u2014 I’m furious at my doctor, Steven Levine, which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a flat-out lie. I love my facelift. I adore my doctor.
