Thanks to the continued support of fans, alongside close collaboration between clubs, stadium operators, supporter groups and local agencies, this season has seen a nationwide reduction in incidents across key focus areas, including:

Pyrotechnics

Football tragedy abuse

Throwing of missiles

Discriminatory, abusive or threatening behaviour

While this progress is encouraging, one incident is still one too many. Even a single act can have serious consequences, not only for fellow supporters and stadium staff, but for the individual responsible. Across the country this season, incidents have resulted in:

A five‑year football banning order and a £2,000 fine for lighting pyrotechnics inside a stadium

Three‑year bans for verbally abusing stadium staff

Three‑year bans for discriminatory social media posts

Three‑year bans for entering the pitch

Such actions can also carry long‑term consequences, including criminal records and impacts on education or employment.

As we head into the final two matches of the season, we want all supporters to be able to celebrate, show their appreciation to the players and staff, and enjoy the matchday experience at London Stadium. To do that, we ask everyone to play their part in ensuring that the actions of a minority do not spoil the game for all.

If you witness dangerous, discriminatory or abusive behaviour, please report it to your nearest steward. Your support helps keep everyone safe.

To see all West Ham match day policies and how to report an incident, visit the club’s support pages here.

For a reminder of the ground regulations please visit here.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued backing.
