Police<\/a> say they are “extremely concerned” for the welfare of a missing<\/a> Glasgow man. James McGarvey was last seen in the Govan Road area near the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital<\/a> around 10.45am on Saturday, May 9.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old is described as white, 5ft 8in, of slim build with greying hair. He was wearing beige clothing and a black parka jacket with fur hood.<\/p>\n

Officers are urging anyone who has information on his whereabouts to get in touch.<\/p>\n

Inspector Graeme Smith said: \u201cWe are extremely concerned for James’ welfare and have a number of officers in the area carrying out enquiries.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am urging anyone who thinks they may have seen James today or has information on his whereabouts to please get in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n
