Dana White is going to be placed as the lead promoter for the clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fury and Joshua are finally set to meet later this year<\/a> in a blockbuster all-British heavyweight clash.<\/p>\n

The contracted clash will take place if the pair get through respective warm-up fights, with Joshua first set to face Kristian Prenga<\/a> on July 25.<\/p>\n

It will be a huge event, with the pair’s long-term promoters Eddie Hearn<\/a> and Frank Warren<\/a> to represent each fighter.<\/p>\n

But the showdown will be financed by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, with the action to be broadcast live on Netflix.<\/p>\n

Although in stunning fashion, Zuffa Boxing’s White, has revealed it will be him who has been placed in charge of promoting the event.<\/p>\n

He said: “This is the busiest year of my career. I\u2019m gonna be traveling everywhere.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m focused on Zuffa Boxing hardcore this year, signing all these guys and putting on great fights.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did a deal with Sky in the UK. There will be great fights on Sky.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing the Tyson Fury<\/a> \u2013 AJ fight, too. I\u2019m gonna be promoting that.\u201d<\/p>\n

White’s main involvement will likely prove complex, with Hearn and Warren now seen as nemises.<\/p>\n

In particular, White and Hearn have gone back and forth in recent months over his growing presence in squared circle promotion, particularly after the former poached Conor Benn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The American has been fortunate enough to be granted the powers to lead the event by Alalshikh, who has helped financially spearhead his Zuffa Boxing project.<\/p>\n

However, Matchroom Boxing’s Hearn has now responded to White’s claim.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cSuch a clout chaser. <\/p>\n

“Not a chance and contractually impossible. Let me know when you find your balls.\u201d<\/p>\n

Things could get messy in the coming weeks and add further fuel to the fire.<\/p>\n

A date and venue has yet to be set for the commercial blockbuster, but fans are hopeful it will land on British shores.<\/p>\n
