{"id":949587,"date":"2026-05-10T03:02:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T03:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/949587\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T03:02:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T03:02:19","slug":"daredevil-season-3-time-jump-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/949587\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Daredevil&#8221; Season 3 Time Jump Confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/daredevil-season-3-time-jump-confirmed.jpg\" data-caption=\"Marvel\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/daredevil-season-3-time-jump-confirmed.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"daredevil-season-3-time-jump-confirmed\"\/><\/a>Marvel<\/p>\n<p>Marvel Television\u2019s chief Brad Winderbaum has confirmed that while the first two seasons of \u201cDaredevil: Born Again\u201d took place quite close together, that won\u2019t be the case with the upcoming third.<\/p>\n<p>The third season appears to be adapting \u201cThe Devil in Cell Block D\u201d storyline from the comics, with the two main characters in quite different places \u2013 Matt Murdock in prison and Wilson Fisk in exile in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Screen Rant<\/a> in the wake of this past week\u2019s second season finale, Winderbaum confirms the third season will be getting a larger time jump:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThere will be a small time jump, but it\u2019s not too significant. It\u2019s not like we\u2019re jumping ahead five years or anything. We\u2019re probably jumping ahead a year or so, kind of like the real-life distance between seasons. And yeah, Fisk\u2019s exile is its own story. So it\u2019s fun watching these two characters be in their own places in season three.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also confirmed the decision to reveal Daredevil\u2019s secret identity came during the development of the second season, and showrunner Dario Scardapane has insisted it will not be undone.<\/p>\n<p>Scardapane tells <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/daredevil-born-again-season-2-finale-burning-questions-set-leaks-season-3-setup-11966896\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EW<\/a> he can\u2019t wait to tackle where Kingpin is now his entire support system has collapsed:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cNow we have a totally different Fisk. There is no Vanessa. There is no network of power. There is no mayor\u2019s office.
