{"id":949892,"date":"2026-05-10T06:38:24","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T06:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/949892\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T06:38:24","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T06:38:24","slug":"jet2-to-run-more-flights-to-jersey-from-bristol-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/949892\/","title":{"rendered":"Jet2 to run more flights to Jersey from Bristol Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has vast stretches of white sandy beaches<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Visit Jersey\" loading=\"eager\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1_Visit-Jersey.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p aria-label=\"Visit Jersey\" class=\"ImageCaption_caption-title__ccyQU\" data-testid=\"caption-title\">Visit Jersey(Image: Visit Jersey)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Jet2 has announced it is increasing the number of flights from <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/bristol-airport\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Bristol Airport<\/a> to Jersey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">It says the move is in response to continued demand from customers and travel agents booking holidays for the short hop to thr Channel island.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The expansion &#8211; which includes flights from Manchester and Birmingham &#8211; means Jet2 will operate 15 weekly flights during peak periods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The new routes are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Bristol Airport<\/strong> \u2013 two weekly services (Monday and Friday) operating from May 14 to October 11 2027.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Birmingham Airport<\/strong> \u2013 three weekly services (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) operating from May 2 to October 10 2027.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Manchester Airport<\/strong> \u2013 three weekly services (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) operating from May 2 to October 31 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: \u201cWe are delighted to be significantly expanding our Jersey programme for Summer 2027, with a great choice of flights now departing from six UK airports as a result. Thanks to the addition of the new routes and the existing programme, we are offering fantastic choice to Jersey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Customers and independent travel agents are wanting to book ahead and get their summer holidays sorted and now we are giving them an even greater selection of destinations to choose from.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;With weekend and midweek flights available, customers have plenty of opportunity to visit the stunning island of Jersey with Jet2 in Summer 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Matt Thomas, chief executive of Ports of Jersey, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a great boost for our tourism industry, making Jersey more accessible to key UK markets and providing more flexibility for Islanders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Tricia Warwick, chief executive of Visit Jersey, said: &#8220;Jet2&#8217;s expanded service and increased capacity for 2027 is a real vote of confidence in Jersey as a destination, and we are delighted for more visitors from across the UK to discover our island.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Jersey has so much to offer, from our warm welcome and fascinating history to our stunning coastline, countless outdoor adventures, and vibrant dining scene.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Sitting between Britain and France, Jersey offers aquamarine waters and vast stretches of white sandy beaches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">At just nine miles by five miles, Jersey is known as the \u201clittle island with the big spirit\u201d and its warm and sunny climate is ideal for those looking to pursue a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, surfing, kayaking and diving.
