Bristol is known and loved for its massive live music <\/a>offering and huge variety of events<\/a>, local venues and genres. And May is one month in the calendar that marks the start of what is set to be a huge summer for live music in the city.<\/p>\n

Not only can we look forward to Bristol’s ‘biggest live music festival’ this month, but also a multi-venue music event that only seems to sell out of tickets quicker each year.<\/p>\n

What’s more, we have smaller but by no means forgettable local events, including some which all the family can enjoy. Here’s three big line-ups coming up for the rest of May…<\/p>\n

Love Saves The Day<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Ashton Court<\/p>\n

Set amid the stunning Ashton Court<\/a> Estate across the late May Bank Holiday weekend, the festival – often dubbed ‘Bristol’s biggest music festival’ – will see artists from across the globe play over two days on eight stages.<\/p>\n

This year’s event features the return of several regulars to Love Saves, and even a massive 90s female hip-hop artist<\/a>. The line-up includes the likes of Rizzle Kicks, Sub Focus, Eve, Confidence Man, Hedex, Sammy Virji, Joy Orbison, Girls Don’t Sync, Flowdan, Katy B, Goldie, and more. This year’s line-up will play across eight unique stages<\/a> and includes a mixture of massive UK and global names, as well as local artists. Tickets are still available at time of writing (April 20), with options for Tier 3 weekend tickets priced at \u00a3147.73, Tier 4 Saturday tickets priced at \u00a379.74, and Tier 5 Sunday tickets priced at \u00a382.54. Where<\/strong>: Multiple venues across Bristol<\/p>\n

This multi-venue music event that only seems to sell out of tickets quicker each year.<\/p>\n

Super early bird, early bird tickets and second release tickets for Dot To Dot Festival 2026 are now sold out, but you can still grab tickets from \u00a335 plus booking fee (information correct at time of writing). Also taking place on the Bank Holiday weekend (the Saturday) Dot to Dot takes place across venues including Bristol’s O2 Academy, Thekla, and more.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: The Ridings, Chipping Sodbury<\/p>\n

Good Times Live 2026<\/a> takes place in the countryside, at The Ridings, northeast of Bristol City Centre<\/a>, between May 20-25. Seven days of live acts will entertain crowds for the series of events, which is this year sponsored by Pepsi.<\/p>\n

Described as a ‘celebration of headline music, comedy, and family<\/a> times in glorious surroundings, its line-up is often dubbed so good that people need to double check to make sure it’s not full of tribute acts.<\/p>\n
