{"id":950588,"date":"2026-05-10T14:24:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T14:24:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/950588\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T14:24:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T14:24:19","slug":"community-growing-project-looks-to-expand-in-west-leeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/950588\/","title":{"rendered":"Community growing project looks to expand in West Leeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A community food growing network working across West Leeds is set to expand its activity after receiving almost \u00a320,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Incredible Edible Leeds, which supports neighbourhood-led growing projects across the city, will use the award to strengthen and develop its network of nearly 25 local groups operating across more than 75 sites. <\/p>\n<p>There are already\u00a0Incredible Edible\u00a0Leeds groups established in Bramley, Pudsey and Armley \u2013 and people across West Leeds are being encouraged to get in touch if they\u2019d like to set up a group in their community.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Robinson formed the organisation in 2019 as part of the Incredible Edible Network, with the intention of creating kinder, more confident and more connected communities through the power of growing food. <\/p>\n<p>The produce is free for anyone to pick and eat and can be found everywhere from local high streets to railway platforms.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IncredibleEdibleBramley2-900x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202382\"  \/>Incredible Edible Bramley.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Robinson said: \u201cWe want to thank National Lottery players for their support.
