Cruise is in London to receive the prestigious BFI Fellowship, which will be presented to him at a dinner on Monday night, and then will head to Cannes Film Festival for the world premiere of \u201cThe Final Reckoning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIt\u2019s not clear exactly how Cruise got on the roof of the theater, but footage emerged of him standing on top of it on social media Sunday night. Discussing Film reposted a video from X user @tsureil, showing Cruise in a suit looking over London, and the post then went viral. After his talk at the BFI, Cruise was present at the BFI Imax for a screening of \u201cMission: Impossible \u2014 Fallout,\u201d which he introduced to the audience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn his BFI discussion, Cruise reflected on the success of the \u201cMission: Impossible\u201d franchise and his collaboration with writer and director Christopher McQuarrie, who was in the crowd. He recounted how they first worked together on \u201cMission: Impossible \u2014 Ghost Protocol,\u201d when Cruise called McQuarrie in during production to help rewrite the script. Cruise said that within minutes of arriving on set, McQuarrie came up with the film\u2019s iconic \u201cblue is glue, red is dead\u201d line. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI go, \u2018McQ, I need help with this scene. I\u2019m trying to figure out the gloves.\u2019 He goes, \u2018OK, well how\u2019s it work?\u2019 I said, \u2018Well, red light means it won\u2019t stick anymore and blue means it sticks and I can go up the wall and climb the whole thing,&#8217;\u201d Cruise said. \u201cWithout even a breath, he goes, \u2018Oh. Blue is glue, red is dead!\u2019 And he proceeded to write the rest of the scene. Simon [Pegg] was like, \u2018Who is that guy?!\u2019 I said, \u2018Oh yeah, that\u2019s McQ.
