The impact of the Green Brigade was felt at Celtic Park today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was, in fact, the first Glasgow Derby<\/a> with the group present since Celtic\u2019s<\/a> last win over Rangers in 90 minutes back in September 2024. This likely isn\u2019t a coincidence.<\/p>\n

It was just the second game at Celtic Park<\/a> since the end of their ban from home and away fixtures imposed by the club, which had been ongoing since November.<\/p>\n

We recapped what the group were up to today\u2026 and they were busy.<\/p>\n

Benny Lynch-inspired tifo<\/p>\n

On display in the North Curve before the game was a grand Tifo in tribute to legendary Scottish boxer and Celtic fan, Benny Lynch.<\/p>\n

The GB used his image alongside the slogan \u201cWe\u2019ll fight it out until the end\u201d to symbolise the club\u2019s resilience in the final stages of the title race. <\/p>\n

In 1937, Lynch famously fought Jim Warnock at Celtic Park in front of a crowd of over 20,000 people.<\/p>\n

Tribute to Franky Mullen<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, one of Celtic\u2019s most loyal followers sadly passed away. Francis \u201cFranny\u201d Mullen followed the team across the globe for multiple decades.<\/p>\n

At the start of the second half, the group displayed a banner which read: \u201cRIP Franny Mullen. He was there and he was always there.\u201d<\/p>\n

A lovely Tommy Burns<\/a>-inspired tribute to a man who was a fixture in the Celtic community for most of his life.<\/p>\n

A Union Bears drum?<\/p>\n

The Union Bears were in the headlines ahead of today\u2019s game, with Celtic refusing to allow any away allocation unless the group were excluded.<\/p>\n

Rangers ended up agreeing to this after SPFL decision-makers decided to uphold Celtic\u2019s stance on the dispute. Thankfully for UB, their drum didn\u2019t go to waste.<\/p>\n

It was seen in Celtic\u2019s North Curve section, stolen and put to use for the Parkhead atmosphere which spurred the team onto victory.<\/p>\n
