Bristol\u2019s trendy coffee chain scene is set to expand again this week with the arrival of Blank Street.<\/p>\n

The Brooklyn-born coffee and matcha brand opens its first South West branch in Bristol on Saturday (May 16).<\/p>\n

Located at 82 Park Street, the move follows a period of growth for the New York-founded company as it establishes a presence in UK cities outside of London.<\/p>\n

The new shop is situated within a Grade II listed Georgian building, at the northern end of the street next to Jigsaw.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the opening, Blank Street is offering customers a ‘Tasting Flight’ service. This involves a brief consultation where staff suggest drinks based on a customer’s taste preferences, such as fruit-based matcha or vanilla cold brews, served in smaller tasting sizes.<\/p>\n

It is part of a wider series of opening events that includes afternoon DJ sets and partnerships with local groups, including city run clubs.<\/p>\n

Ignacio Llado, co-founder of Blank Street, stated that the brand had been looking for a suitable Bristol location for several months, citing the city’s established food and design culture as the primary draw. The Park Street branch joins a competitive local market known for its independent specialty coffee shops.<\/p>\n
