During a recent visit, German defense officials highlighted that the joint venture will focus on the development and mass production of drones with a range of up to 1,500 kilometers. These systems are designed to operate effectively in contested environments, providing a strategic counter-measure against long-range threats.<\/p>\n

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated, “The development of these systems is a direct response to the evolving needs of the modern battlefield.” He emphasized that the partnership leverages German engineering expertise alongside Ukraine’s frontline experience and rapid innovation cycle.<\/p>\n

In addition to production, the agreement includes the transfer of technology and the establishment of maintenance hubs. This ensures that the systems can be serviced and upgraded directly within Ukraine, reducing reliance on external logistics.<\/p>\n
