Green Party\u2019s Khadijah Akhtar received 483 votes.<\/p>\n<p>Posting on Facebook after Friday\u2019s count, Councillor Heptinstall said: \u201cTo everyone who voted for me, supported me, encouraged me, delivered leaflets, spoke to me on the doorstep, or simply wished me luck \u2013 thank you. I am incredibly grateful for the trust and support that has been placed in me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis campaign has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and eye-opening experiences of my life.
