The London band enlisted Trevor Horn for Anatomy of a Brief Romance, their follow-up to the 2022 LP <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/bloc-party-alpha-games\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alpha Games<\/a>. Listen to the single \u201cComing on Strong\u201d below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/6371-kele-okereke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kele Okereke<\/a> says he wrote the record in the wake of a more than decade-long relationship. \u201cEvery lyric you\u2019re hearing on this record was something that actually happened to me,\u201d he explained in press materials. \u201cI had to tell the story, from start to finish.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anatomy of a Brief Romance will be the maiden release of Contagious Ltd., a new Virgin Music Group imprint.
