\n\tThe U.K. and Ireland box office saw a fashionable hold as Disney\u2019s \u201cThe Devil Wears Prada 2<\/a>\u201d retained its first-place position, collecting \u00a35.2 million ($7 million) over the weekend. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe sequel has now amassed a cumulative total of $28.5 million after 11 days in theaters.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s musical biopic \u201cMichael<\/a>\u201d maintained a strong presence in second place, earning $6.8 million in its third week, bringing its total to $45.3 million.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Sheep Detectives<\/a>,\u201d distributed by Sony, made a notable entrance at number three debuting with \u00a3$4.4 million in its opening weekend.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe concert film \u201cBillie Eilish \u2013 Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour,\u201d distributed by Paramount, secured fourth place with an opening of $2.4 million. Rounding out the top five was Warner Bros.\u2019 \u201cMortal Kombat II,\u201d which earned $2.1 million during its debut frame.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s \u201cThe Super Mario Galaxy Movie\u201d continued its long-term run in sixth place, adding $642,427 to a total that now stands at $49.9 million after six weeks. \u201cProject Hail Mary,\u201d distributed by Sony, followed in seventh, earning $389,703 in its eighth week for a $45.7 million cume.<\/p>\n

\n\tBlack Bear\u2019s \u201cHokum\u201d took eighth place with $376,032, while Universal\u2019s \u201cIron Maiden: Burning Ambition\u201d debuted in ninth with $280,504. Rounding out the chart were \u201cThe Magic Faraway Tree\u201d from Entertainment Film Distributors at number 10 with $163,809 and \u201cThe Drama\u201d in 11th with $115,111.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking ahead, Paramount will lead the anniversary charge with a 40th-anniversary screening of \u201cTop Gun\u201d alongside a re-release of \u201cTop Gun: Maverick.\u201d Universal brings a 25th-anniversary re-release of the DreamWorks classic \u201cShrek\u201d to over 300 locations, while Warner Bros. marks the 30th anniversary of \u201cSpace Jam.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNew releases also include Steven Soderbergh\u2019s \u201cThe Christophers\u201d via Picturehouse Entertainment, starring Ian McKellen and Michaela Coel, which opens in 300+ locations. Vertigo launches \u201cNormal\u201d starring Bob Odenkirk, while Universal debuts Curry Barker\u2019s \u201cObsession.\u201d International and indie offerings include Zee Studios International\u2019s \u201cPati Patni Aur Woh Do,\u201d Central City Media\u2019s \u201cCiao UFO,\u201d and Mubi\u2019s Hungarian drama \u201cOrphan\u201d from L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Nemes.
