Tony Yoka will fight on the Dave Allen vs Filip Hrgovic bill as a late addition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Allen and Hrgovic will meet in a blockbuster heavyweight clash in the former’s home town of Doncaster this weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It will be an exciting bill with several enthralling domestic match-ups on the cards.<\/p>\n

But now it will be boosted by the arrival of French heavyweight Yoka.<\/p>\n

He has been added to the undercard on short-notice with an opponent yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

It will be a keep-busy fight with the view to keep ticking over before bigger fights in 2026.<\/p>\n

His trainer Don Charles confirmed to DAZN<\/a>: “Queensberry have put him [Yoka] on the undercard of the Dave Allen fight in Doncaster.<\/p>\n

“He went through all that training, he didn\u2019t fight, it\u2019s been a couple of weeks, so they are giving him a fight to keep ticking over while Frank plots the next move.”<\/p>\n

Yoka will be grateful for the activity after missing out on his showdown with Lawrence Okolie.<\/p>\n

The bout was cancelled<\/a> after Okolie returned an adverse finding in a drugs test, and a short notice replacement couldn’t be found.<\/p>\n

Of course, despite getting back into the ring again this weekend, it was a frustrating period.<\/p>\n

Yoka was left out in the cold and his shot at getting to the top of the WBC No.1 rankings is now in jeopardy.<\/p>\n

Allen and Hrgovic’s clash this weekend will be fought in a stadium<\/p>\n

The former Olympic champion admits he was annoyed<\/a> at the short notice that was given to cancel the show.<\/p>\n

He told talkSPORT: “I was disappointed because I wanted to fight.<\/p>\n

“I was ready; it’s not like it happened a month before. It was three or four days before the fight.<\/p>\n

“It was a big opportunity, it would have put me in a really good position [with the WBC]…<\/p>\n

“Of course, I am p*****. It was a great fight in Paris, one of the biggest we have produced. It was the premiere of Queensberry in France.<\/p>\n

“I’m a professional, you know, that as soon as you are about to take something, you must go on the website and check if it is allowed.<\/p>\n
