Based on a recent schedule leak, their other opponent has been revealed.

Twitter user @NerdingonNFL just posted that the Jags will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur in Week 5. If that’s true, their two opponents for the trip to London are set.

If you were wondering, NerdingonNFL has a good track record of dropping schedule scoops, but the NFL will confirm Jacksonville’s slate of London games when they announce their international series schedule on May 13.

Why the Jaguars will want to face the Eagles early in the season

CBS Sports suggested that the Jaguars would love to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 5 because they’ll have a more favorable matchup. On the other hand, Jacksonville would surely like to measure itself against a playoff team early in 2026. Philly most definitely fit the bill.

The Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2024, but regressed last season in part because they lacked an offensive identity. To remedy that, they cut ties with offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo and brought in Sean Mannion to get the most out of Jalen Hurts.

Aside from Hurts, the Eagles have star running back Saquon Barkley. Even if wide receiver AJ Brown leaves, DeVonta Smith and rookie Makai Lemon can pick up the slack. On defense, Philadelphia just got tougher after trading for Jonathan Greenard, who joins a front four that includes Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis.

When you add it all up, the Eagles will serve as a good barometer of where the Jaguars sit after their 2025 turnaround.

The Jaguars have enough firepower to fend off the Eagles

While the Eagles are a formidable foe, on paper, the Jaguars are no pushover. Sure, head coach Liam Coen has been the head coach for just one year, but he’s already proven that he’s got what it takes to turn Jacksonville into a perennial contender.

Last year, the Jags went 13-4 despite the fact that they got off to an unremarkable start. Their late-season push was due in part to the trade to acquire wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who became one of Trevor Lawrence’s most trusted targets right off the bat. Speaking of Lawrence, he played like a top-10 quarterback to finish the year and should be in the MVP conversation next season.

On defense, the Jaguars bolstered their interior defensive line with Albert Regis and Ruker Orhorhoro. Moreover, they rounded out their pass rush with Wesley Williams and Zach Durfee, who’ll join the scary duo of Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen.

Of course, what happened in a season doesn’t have a bearing on the next, so the Jaguars will have to start all over again. Having said that, they have enough talent and added enough reinforcements to the roster to make you think that they have a legitimate chance to beat the Eagles at Tottenham or wherever they’ll play them.

Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow

While it’s yet to be confirmed, the Jacksonville Jaguars will tentatively play the Houston Texans in one of…

[7757
748,393,4884,257,16,15
0":"post-955961","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-london","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-england","10":"tag-great-britain","11":"tag-london","12":"tag-uk","13":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
