\n Police were called by the ambulance service at 10.37pm on May 11 to reports a woman had been stabbed in Huddersfield.\n<\/p>\n
\n The victim, who was found on Topaz Lane, had suffered serious injuries to her leg and head.\n<\/p>\n
\n She was taken to hospital, where she remains in critical condition.\n<\/p>\n
\n Police believe the woman was attacked in the street by two suspects who then made off on an e-bike.\n<\/p>\n
\n The incident is believed to be targeted.\n<\/p>\n
\n Enquiries remain ongoing.\n<\/p>\n

\n Detective Inspector Sarah Bradley of Kirklees CID said: “This is a very serious incident where a woman has suffered serious injuries.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cExtensive enquiries are ongoing this morning including house to house and CCTV.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWhilst the investigation is at an early stage, we believe this incident was targeted and there is no wider threat to the public.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI would encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the suspects on an e-bike prior to the stabbing to come forward with information. \u00a0\n<\/p>\n
