A 19-year-old male has been charged in connection with a child sex offence investigation involving 27 victims across the UK.<\/p>\n

The probe was launched by Cheshire Police’s Online Child Abuse Investigation Team. Thomas Avery, 19, of no fixed abode in Manchester, has been charged with 36 offences.<\/p>\n

The offences include causing a child to engage in penetrative sexual activity, making indecent images of children, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and threatening to share intimate photographs or films, Cheshire Police said.<\/p>\n

The charges relate to an investigation into offences which happened between October 2024 and April 2025. It involves 27 victims across the UK, police added in a statement.<\/p>\n

Avery, previously of Wilmslow, has been bailed.
