Picture: Reece Bissonnette<\/p>\n<p>One fire engine attended after a call was made at 12.16pm.<\/p>\n<p>Those passing by saw big plumes of black smoke in the air while bright orange flames engulfed the white car.<\/p>\n<p>Footage shows the burning vehicle had managed to stop in a layby while traffic continued to pass the blaze.<\/p>\n<p>No injuries were reported and the fire service left the scene at 12.54pm.<\/p>\n<p>The police and ambulance service have been contacted for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A car burst into flames on a busy A-road.
