Katharine McPhee and her husband, David Foster, serenaded L.A. mayoral candidate and The Hills villain Spencer Pratt at a fundraiser this week. McPhee added some new lyrics to Tina Turner\u2019s \u201cThe Best,\u201d singing \u201cSpencer you\u2019re simply the best \/ Better than all the rest \/ Better than Karen Bass \/ And Nithya Raman.\u201d Pratt is running for mayor, with his two biggest opponents being incumbent Bass and City Councilmember Raman. Pratt is running on a \u201ctough on crime\u201d<\/a> platform, vowing to hire more police officers ahead of the 2028 Olympics and to close a needle exchange near MacArthur Park. An IG post <\/a>early in his campaign showed a picture of the park with the text \u201cNEVER FORGET WHAT THE COMMIES TOOK FROM YOU\u201d written over it.<\/p>\n Pratt entered politics blaming Bass for last year\u2019s Palisades and Eaton Fires and the ensuing property damage. Pratt\u2019s house burned down in the Palisades Fire, and without homeowner\u2019s insurance<\/a> he says he and wife Heidi Montag have not been able to rebuild yet. He is currently staying at the Hotel Bel Air<\/a> after previously saying in a campaign ad that he was living in a trailer on his property.<\/p>\n Besides Foster and McPhee, other celebs backing Pratt<\/a> include Joe Rogan, James Woods, and his former Hills co-star Kristin Cavallari.
