{"id":95871,"date":"2025-05-12T17:22:09","date_gmt":"2025-05-12T17:22:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/95871\/"},"modified":"2025-05-12T17:22:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T17:22:09","slug":"apple-releases-ios-18-5-with-new-wallpaper-screen-time-changes-carrier-satellite-support-for-iphone-13-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/95871\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple Releases iOS 18.5 With New Wallpaper, Screen Time Changes, Carrier Satellite Support for iPhone 13 and More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple today released iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5, the fifth updates to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/roundup\/ios-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iOS 18<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/roundup\/ipados-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iPadOS 18<\/a> operating systems that came out last September. iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 come a little over a month after Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2025\/03\/31\/apple-releases-ios-18-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/iOS-18.5-Feature-Real-Mock.jpg\"   alt=\"iOS 18\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1406\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-997322\"\/><br \/>The new software can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings &gt; General &gt; Software Update. The iOS 18.5 update has a build number of 22F76, so those that had the RC installed will see another update. <\/p>\n<p>iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 are on the smaller side, featuring a limited number of new features. There&#8217;s an update to Screen Time that lets parents know when a Screen Time passcode is used on a child&#8217;s device, and there is support for carrier-provided satellite features on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/guide\/iphone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iPhone<\/a> 13 models.
