One of Bristol’s City Farms <\/a>will see the return of an ever-popular event in its summer calendar next month.<\/p>\n

The St Werburghs City Farm<\/a> Summer Fair will return on Saturday, June 6, bringing thousands to the farm and its surrounding areas for what is described as a ‘mini festival’.<\/p>\n

Dubbed the farm’s ‘biggest fundraising event<\/a> of the year’, the Summer Fair has now become a staple in the city’s calendar for many. For just one day each year, it sees the farm and its surrounding areas transformed, with three stages<\/a>, multiple stalls, and roaming performances – all of these popping up between the main farm site, The Farm pub and Boiling Wells woodland.<\/p>\n

The day is packed with food and family activities, with the aim of showcasing local performers, makers and storytellers and ‘celebrating local community, creativity and culture’.<\/p>\n

All proceeds from the event go back into the Farm’s work.<\/p>\n
