The Princess of Wales stepped out for a second day of engagements in Italy today, and she chose an outfit by Italian designers. Kate, 44, wore a beige blazer by designer Blaz\u00e9 Milano and a fabric bracelet by Atelier Molayem, a small brand based in Milan.<\/p>\n

Founded by three female stylists, Blaz\u00e9 Milano is said to have been born<\/a> from the love of the \u201chumble blazer.\u201d Kate has worn their clothing before, including to church at Sandringham on Christmas Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A small crowd braved the rain to see the Princess today at her second stop of the day at Reggio Emilia’s creative resource centre, REMIDA, where she heard about how the community support the Reggio Emilia childcare approach. In contrast to yesterday\u2019s rapturous welcome from a crowd of 3,000<\/a> in the Piazza outside the Town Hall, there was no official opportunity for members of the general public to greet the Princess today. However, some members of the public who had heard where she would be had come down to catch a glimpse of her. They cheered when she arrived. Kate waved on her arrival and departure but did not go over to them.<\/p>\n

The Princess\u2019s first stop today was to the Salvador Allende pre-school. The school places emphasis on outdoor learning and the Princess was in her element as she spent time with children outdoors. She joined in with a class morning assembly, observing how the children decide together what their activities will be for the day.<\/p>\n

Following this, she arrived at Reggio Emilia\u2019s creative resource centre, REMIDA. \u201cThe visit will highlight the strong partnership between the city\u2019s educational institutions and the private sector, showcasing a whole of society commitment to children\u2019s development,\u201d Kensington Palace said in a statement. There, the Princess met business leaders who support the centre including Costanza Maramotti from renowned Italian fashion house Max Mara.<\/p>\n

The Princess\u2019s final stop of the day was scheduled to be to a vineyard and farmhouse to spend time with the local community. She is on her first overseas visit since returning to work following her cancer diagnosis<\/a>.<\/p>\n
