Bonas&#8217;s husband describes his &#8216;honour&#8217; upon meeting William"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The husband of Prince Harry\u2019s former girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, has spoken of the \u201chonour\u201d of welcoming Prince William when he officially opened a suicide prevention centre earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>The Prince of Wales travelled to Birmingham on Monday to launch James\u2019 Place Birmingham, a specialist centre dedicated to supporting men in suicidal crisis.<\/p>\n<p>The facility, which opened for referrals this week, is expected to help around 500 men each year.<\/p>\n<p>Prince William, 43, posed for photographs with Harry Wentworth-Stanley during his Birmingham visit.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Wentworth-Stanley is the brother of the charity\u2019s late namesake.<\/p>\n<p>He is married to Cressida Bonas, who previously dated Prince Harry between 2012 and 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Wentworth-Stanley shared photographs from the visit on social media today, describing it as \u201ca huge honour\u201d to welcome the Prince of Wales to officially open the centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so grateful for his ongoing support,\u201d he wrote on WENTWORTH-STANLEY<\/p>\n<p>James\u2019 Place was founded by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley after the death of their son James, who took his own life in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The charity now operates centres in London, Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham, offering free, life-saving therapy to men in crisis.<\/p>\n<p>William, who has spoken openly about the importance of tackling mental health stigma, toured the new centre and spent time with staff and partner organisations involved in the project.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Wentworth-Stanley, who works as a real estate investment director, has Bonas | Source: GETTY<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, he and three friends rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, travelling from the Canary Islands to Antigua and raising \u00a3650,000 to support the charity\u2019s early work.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during the visit, William praised the team behind the organisation and called for more centres across the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe team here are fantastic,\u201d the prince said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope we can get more of you around the UK, because it is in need of it sadly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Harry Wentworth-Stanley and Cressida Bonas | Wentworth-Stanley is due to begin a 400-mile fundraising challenge later this month, connecting the charity\u2019s centres across Britain as he aims to raise \u00a3100,000 for James\u2019
