Halo: Campaign Evolved<\/a> is coming to the PS5 later this year, and the appearance of dummy boxes in US retailer GameStop is making everyone feel a bit weird.<\/p>\n

In a Reddit<\/a> post spotted by Windows Central<\/a>, one user uploaded a photo of the box in their local store, noting that it\u2019s \u201cstill very insane to see\u201d.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s angst among the Xbox community<\/a> about whether it will return to exclusives under new CEO Asha Sharma, but some Halo fans seem optimistic about the transition to the PS5.<\/p>\n

One said: \u201cThis is pretty much Halo\u2019s last chance to salvage any damage done the last decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a rocky road for Microsoft\u2019s flagship franchise over the past few years, with Halo Infinite<\/a> delayed out of the Xbox Series X|S\u2019 launch and ultimately underdelivering.<\/p>\n

Halo Studios said that the future of Master Chief is \u201con PlayStation going forward\u201d, but whether Microsoft has other plans remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

For now, though, PS5 will get its first taste of the Spartan in Halo: Campaign Evolved, which doesn\u2019t currently have a release date but is due out at some point this year.<\/p>\n
