Leeds United<\/a> were not in any mood to phone in a lazy performance against Spurs on Monday night, which caught Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola\u2019s attention.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s so nice to look at the shape of the Premier League table and know that Leeds\u2019 objective for the season was complete with three to play.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t have anything absolutely urgent to play for. But, ensuring we finish on a high is still a massive incentive for Daniel Farke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many are speculating whether Leeds, and other clubs \u2018with nothing to play for, are going to put in 100% effort in remaining games<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our performance in North London on Monday night emphatically proved that wrong. Despite an exacerbated injury crisis, Leeds fought back with a penalty from Dominic Calvert-Lewin to take a well-earned draw back to West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

That performance impressed Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola<\/a>. Ahead of his side\u2019s Wednesday night clash with Crystal Palace, Guardiola noted how the Eagles will be up for the game despite their status being assured, using Leeds as proof.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait for Sunday when we take on Brighton. The atmosphere and mood inside Elland Road will feel similar to the Bristol City fixture at the end of last season.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not expecting that we claim a victory against a Seagulls side looking to qualify for Europe, but you can definitely expect a good, intense performance.<\/p>\n

Guardiola is spot on here. He knows that teams with \u2018nothing to play for\u2019 aren\u2019t just going to lie down and let sides win. Of course, his Man City side brushed Palace aside.<\/p>\n

Brighton and West Ham won\u2019t be getting an easy game against us.<\/p>\n
