Sunday’s programming saw updated comments from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett on where the trade talks between the US and China currently stand.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s just leave what\u2019s possible with China to what happens on Monday, Tuesday, and next week, but the rest of the world is open for business,\u201d said Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick in a CNN appearance Sunday morning where he added that that the negotiating team \u201cfelt good\u201d about the talks and that \u201cwe are optimistic\u201d about a lowering of tariffs.<\/p>\n
