{"id":961270,"date":"2026-05-15T09:50:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T09:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/961270\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T09:50:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T09:50:13","slug":"additional-services-for-events-across-wales-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/961270\/","title":{"rendered":"Additional services for events across Wales this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those travelling to Monster Jam, G\u0175yl Fach y Fro and the Barry Island 10K this weekend will benefit from additional Transport for Wales services. <\/p>\n<p>Monster Jam, held at the Principality Stadium and Barry Island, is hosting G\u0175yl\u00a0Fach y\u00a0Fro, a Welsh language festival on the Saturday (16th) <\/p>\n<p>Sunday sees the  Barry Island 10K, with thousands set to attend. <\/p>\n<p>Demand is set to be high, even with the additional services and capacity. <\/p>\n<p>Queuing systems will be in place from 5 pm, and those heading to the Valleys or the Vale of Glamorgan have been advised to use  Cardiff Queen Street, with all other queues at Cardiff Central square. <\/p>\n<p>Passengers should check before they travel, plan ahead, and allow extra time. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s\u00a0a fantastic weekend for South Wales with a real mix of sport, culture, and family entertainment. Having multiple events across Cardiff and Barry Island means our services will be much busier than usual.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve worked closely with event organisers, including Run 4 Wales, to ensure we\u2019re providing as much capacity as possible.
