The Rathbone, Fitzrovia is undertaking a phased refurbishment programme as part of a long-term investment in the property, enhancing its guestrooms, suites and public spaces while reinforcing the hotel\u2019s quietly residential character.<\/p>\n
Phase One focuses on the hotel\u2019s 72 guestrooms and suites, which are being reimagined in a variety of styles that respond to the building\u2019s varied room configurations. Seventy-five per cent of the works have already been completed, with full completion scheduled for Summer 2026.<\/p>\n
The renewed interiors follow a calm contemporary British aesthetic with a residential sensibility. Detailing favours high-quality, understated finishes over decorative or trend-led styling, remaining in keeping with the hotel\u2019s discreet townhouse approach to hospitality.<\/p>\n
Phase Two will see a complete refurbishment of the hotel\u2019s public spaces, including Albert\u2019s Bar, the lobby, reception and breakfast room, and is expected to conclude in Autumn 2026.<\/p>\n
