As Friday’s unforgettable afternoon of racing played out, King Charles was in attendance with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2026\"King<\/p>\n

The King and Queen are toasting a remarkable treble triumph on the racecourse after three of their horses<\/a> stormed to victory.<\/p>\n

The impressive feat was accomplished across two races at York and one at Newbury on Friday. Portcullis claimed the Darley EBF “Confined” Novice Stakes at York.<\/p>\n

The horse was guided by jockey William Buick and trained by the renowned duo John and Thady Gosden. Warrant Holder flew the King and Queen’s colours to glory in the Support Macmillan Charity<\/a> Raceday On 13 June Handicap at York.<\/p>\n

The third leg of the treble for both the King and Queen and the Gosdens came courtesy of Point Of Law, who triumphed in the Coolmore City Of Troy EBF Maiden Stakes at Newbury.<\/p>\n

As Friday’s unforgettable afternoon of racing played out, Charles was in attendance with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.<\/p>\n

The prestigious event, which features show jumping, driving and endurance competitions, is set to run to Sunday May 17 2026. The Royal Windsor Horse Show is the only time of year the private grounds of Windsor Castle are open to the public.<\/p>\n

A week of top-level international equestrian competition across the FEI disciplines of Show Jumping, Driving, and Endurance reaches its pinnacle on the Sunday with the Rolex Grand Prix.
