men appear in court after early morning raids amid gangland probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SIX men have appeared in court facing a variety of charges following their arrest during a gangland probe.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Quinn, 31, James Quinn, 26, James Swankie, 31, Andrew Robertson, 52, William Quinn, 57, and Regan McKay, 26 were all in the dock at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/glasgow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow<\/a> Sheriff Court.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Police officers role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1<\/p>\n<p>Officers forced entry using a circular saw at one address<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Quinn, of Glasgow, is accused of one charge of conspiracy as well as a separate charge of attempted conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>James Quinn, of Glasgow, meantime faces two charges of conspiracy while Swankie is alleged to have committed one conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Robertson, of Wishaw, Lanarkshire, faces a charge of being involved in serious organised crime.<\/p>\n<p>William Quinn, of Glasgow, is accused of acquiring criminal property and possession of criminal property as well as possession of drugs.<\/p>\n<p>McKay, of Glasgow, meantime faces a charge of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.<\/p>\n<p>All six men made no plea at their respective hearings to the charges they face and were committed for further examination.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Quinn, James Quinn and Swankie were remanded in custody.<\/p>\n<p>They will appear in court again within the next eight days.<\/p>\n<p>Robertson, William Quinn and McKay were granted bail with their next court appearances to be determined.<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday, heavily armed officers executed warrants and searched six properties in the Barlanark, Maryhill, Hamiltonhill, Milton of Campsie and Wishaw areas.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 32 arrests have now been made across the West and East of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/scotland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scotland<\/a>\u00a0and extensive enquiries\u00a0remain\u00a0ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Police\u00a0enquiries\u00a0remain\u00a0ongoing and officers from the force\u2019s Specialist Crime Division are helping gather vital evidence as they
