If you\u2019ve played the original on PSVR<\/strong><\/a> or its sequel on PSVR2<\/strong><\/a>, then you\u2019ll know: Moss<\/a> is an extraordinary experience.<\/p>\n

A platformer designed around virtual reality, this series embeds you in its fantasy worlds with cutesy protagonist Quill, an adorable mouse armed with a sword.<\/p>\n

Like the original Astro Bot Rescue Mission<\/a>, these games are some of the very best campaigns you can play in VR, because they use the technology sparingly.<\/p>\n

Both games are seated experiences where you can physically interact with the world, but all of the action takes place around you.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re so good, ultimately, that they deserve to be played by more people \u2013 and with talented dev Polyarc falling upon hard times (resulting in a round of recent layoffs<\/a>), we can\u2019t begrudge it bringing these games to flat screens.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Moss: The Forgotten Relic<\/a> will combine both critically acclaimed virtual reality games into one seamless bundle, and \u201creimagine\u201d the visuals for pancake play.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, you are going to lose a little bit of the magic here, but we reckon these will remain very enjoyable games \u2013 even in this stripped back format.<\/p>\n

If you can play them with PSVR2, then that\u2019s what we\u2019d recommend you do \u2013 but if that\u2019s simply not an option for you, then we\u2019re glad this new version is going to exist.<\/p>\n

The release date is set for this summer, and we\u2019d highly recommend you check it out. Quill is a cute protagonist, and the adventures are thoroughly enjoyable from start-to-finish.<\/p>\n
