Markle and Harry\u2019s 2018 wedding was a star-studded affair<\/a> \u2014 with Oprah Winfrey, Victoria and David Beckham and more A-listers watching the nuptials \u2014 but a significant number of the couple\u2019s friendships have fizzled out in the eight years since, the Daily Mail reported<\/a> Saturday.<\/p>\n The couple has \u201cno bridges left to burn\u201d \u2014 though they reportedly don\u2019t think it\u2019s due to their own behavior, the outlet reported. <\/p>\n \u201cThey don\u2019t get it. The association gives them a kick,\u201d the source continued. \u201cBut if someone stops calling, they don\u2019t ask why.\u201d<\/p>\n NewsNation\u2019s Paula Froelich told the outlet that some of the couple\u2019s celeb friends have distanced themselves because they\u2019re wary of Markle associating them with any of her branding<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one wants to hang out with Meghan,\u201d she added. \u201cLots of reasons, but she might sell clothes while using their name.\u201d<\/p>\n Froelich claimed Winfrey is one of the couple\u2019s former pals who has since distanced herself after her bombshell two-hour interview with Markle<\/a> in 2021.<\/p>\n According to the report, Oprah Winfrey, seen at their wedding, is not as close to Markle as she once was.
