With the music of Sevdah originating over 400 years ago in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mostar Sevdah Reunion are considered to be the modern day innovators of the genre.<\/p>\n
The band have created a whole new style of music, inspiring the younger bands who follow in their footsteps. <\/p>\n
With the 30th anniversary of their first album, released in 1998 and titled \u201cMostar Sevdah Reunion\u201d, the band showed the Sheffield audience a taste of the Balkans, with their own personal twist on the traditional sound.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
