The broadcast on NPO 1 had an audience share of 4.8% and is the smallest audience for a Eurovision Song Contest final since 2008, when Hind failed to qualify for the final, which saw 758,000 viewers.<\/p>\n<p>During the course of the 4 hour broadcast, 2.185 million viewers watched at least one minute of the show. The final had the largest reach of any broadcast on Dutch TV on Saturday night, but was the fourth most-watched on average. Compared to 2025, when the Netherlands competed, the audience has fallen by 2,792,000 viewers, with the share falling by 61.3 percentage points<\/p>\n<p>The viewing figures for the Netherlands for Eurovision 2026 are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Semi-Final One \u2013 776,000 viewers \u2013 3.7% share<\/li>\n<li>Semi-Final Two \u2013 739,000 viewers \u2013 3.6% share<\/li>\n<li>Grand Final \u2013 798,000 viewers \u2013 4.8% share<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Henry Schut and Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte commentated on the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 on behalf of NOS and NTR. The Netherlands has won the contest on five occasions; 1957, 1959, 1969, 1975 and most recently 2019. Prior to Duncan Laurence\u2019s victory in Tel Aviv, the Netherlands had been waiting 44 years for their next victory.
